Born & bred in Cruden Bay, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.  As a junior represented Scotland at International Level.  Attended Stetson University (Florida) and played NCAA Division I Golf. Graduated in 1999 and became Fully Qualified as a PGA professional in 2002.
